Banana Chia Bread

Moist, hearty, and packed with omega-3s, this Banana Chia Bread is a wholesome twist on a classic. Ripe bananas bring natural sweetness while chia seeds add texture and a nutritional boost. It’s the perfect loaf for breakfast, snack time, or a cozy afternoon treat.

Prep Time: 10–15 minutes

Cook Time: 60 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour 10–15 minutes

Yield: 1 medium loaf (about 8–10 slices)

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Cup of Flour
  • 2 Tsp of Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp of Salt
  • 1 Large Egg, Room Temperature
  • 2 Tbsp of Whipped Butter, Softened
  • 1/2 Cup of Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup of Top Seedz Chia Seeds
  • 2 Large Bananas, Smashed
  • 1/2 Cup of Almond Milk

 Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a medium loaf pan and set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, mix softened butter, egg, mashed bananas, and sugar until smooth.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Gradually add dry ingredients and almond milk to the wet mixture, alternating between the two. Mix just until combined (avoid over-mixing to keep bread light).

  5. Fold in Chia Seeds gently until evenly distributed.

  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

  7. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  8. Let cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Enjoy!
