Small Actions = Big Impact
It's Earth Day this Saturday, April 22nd and I've decided to rally my neighbors to help pick up trash along our community bike path. Many hands make light work and many small actions, make a large impact. I’ll give out crackers and another neighbor offered to have a party after, and we all know, snacks are a great incentive for a job well done!
Last year, it was rainy and snowy, (and we weren’t prepared) but the trash that we picked up from the new construction around our neighborhood was absolutely astonishing! I grabbed a few garbage bags, my daughters, Jolie & Naoimh, and we started picking up litter! We were shocked at how quickly it added up. There's no need to be a superhero...it all starts with one garbage bag and a few minutes of your time.
Any ideas for your Earth Day?
