Summer, Sports & Giving Back

Kia Ora,

The first truly warm day in Buffalo always feels like a reset. After months of layering up and staying inside, getting outside and moving again just feels right.

Whether it’s biking, golfing, hitting the tennis court, or walking the dogs with my family, summer gets us back to what we love—being active, being outside, and reconnecting. One of my favorites lately? Pickleball with the family (full disclaimer; starts friendly... and somehow turns into the Wimbledon finals).

It’s not just the movement—it’s the connection; neighbors catching up on dog walks, old friends together for a round of golf, or spontaneous spikeball in the backyard. We all come out of hibernation ready to move and mingle.

At Top Seedz, we’re gearing up for the Buffalo Ride for Roswell—one of the biggest community events of the year and a cause close to our hearts. It’s a bike ride to honor survivors, remember loved ones, and raise funds for cancer research at Roswell Park. Thousands of people riding for one purpose.

And speaking of team spirit, every oven at Top Seedz is named after a woman in sports who inspires us. From trailblazers to champions, these names remind us daily of the strength, courage, and excellence we strive to embody in everything we make. We’ve got new ovens coming soon... and this time, we’ll be asking you to help us name it. (Follow us on socials to stay up to date!)

Inspired by champions, powered by you! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to help name our next oven! 🥇

Here’s to summer: fresh air, friendly competition (or not-so-friendly, depending on who’s keeping score), and movement that just feels good.

Your Friend,

Rebecca
