Green Beans with Sesame Seeds and Ginger

This combines three of my favorites; ginger, sesame seeds and green beans. In July we get the beans straight from the garden which makes the dish taste even better!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz green beans
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • small chunk of ginger finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  •  

    Cook the beans in boiling water for 3 minutes. Strain. Heat the sesame oil and add the garlic and ginger cooking for about 1 minute. Add the beans coating in ginger and garlic. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
