TopSeedz Named an Ignite Buffalo Finalist!

43North has announced 27 finalists for the first Ignite Buffalo competition, with $1 million in total prize money from Facebook to be handed out.

Seven of those companies will be called to the stage at the finals on Wednesday, to pitch for four $50,000 grants and three $100,000 grants. The other 20 companies will receive $25,000 grants. The event is part of Facebook Community Boost, which is taking place this week.

The 27 finalists are: Abyssinia Ethiopian Cuisine; Always Something Farm; Barrel + Brine Inc.; Black Monarchy; BreadHive Worker Cooperative; Buffalo All Star Extreme; Buffalo Distilling Company; Casa Azul; Crown BFLO; Dani-Fit Inc.; Ellen K Design – The Flower Stand; Executive Sweeps; Get Fokus'd Productions; Grooperative Inc.; and Groundwork Market Garden.

Also: Jeca Energy Bar Co.; LaMovement Fitness; Mobile Eco Steam; Om Nohm Gluten Free; Oxford Pennant; Papercraft Miracles; Revolution Spinning; Rooted Locally; Spoke & Dagger Co.; the Law Office of Stephanie Adams; TopSeedz; and Whole Nine Wellness.

The finals will start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Erie Community College's downtown campus, at 121 Ellicott St.
