Eat Healthy & Manage Stress by Staying Grounded

Stress plagues many of us. According to the American Psychological Association (APA), 2 in 3 adults (67%) say they have experienced increased stress over the course of the pandemic. Unfortunately, stress takes a toll on many aspects of our life, including our health. Things like getting enough sleep, being active outdoors (walking, cycling, meditating), and trying to eat whole foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds (why I love Top Seedz) nourish your body so you are better equipped to handle stress. Also, eating better helps you sleep better too! Think about it….whole foods basically come from the ground (on some level).

So, remember to stay grounded- connect with family and friends, get out and get some fresh air and exercise and eat whole foods. It really is that simple.

Kelly Cardamone currently lives and practices in Buffalo, NY. She follows a whole food plant-based diet and tries to help people implement a whole foods approach to eating. As a former marathon runner, Kelly practices what she teaches with her family at home by eating healthy, walking, cycling, and practicing yoga. She and her family try to spend as much time as possible outdoors ( even in the winter). Her philosophy or wise words: “Your health is in your hands.” She is excited to be part of the Top Seedz Team!
